Instructor Bio:

MSW, LCSW, PMH-C (She/Her/Hers) Welcome to a safe space for reflection, connection, and healing recovery. My counseling is practiced through a trauma informed lens, and I enjoy collaborating with my clients through utilizing science-backed tools, psycho-education, compassion, and a good dose of humor, drawing from multiple psychotherapies, including cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, neuroscience perspectives, and “bottom-up” approaches. I believe that therapy is a place to restore regulation and resiliency to the nervous system, creating a strong foundation for trauma work, self-compassion, and recovery. I primarily work with individuals 18+ years old and have a special interest reducing suffering and providing hope to severely emotionally dysregulated and traumatized individuals, including those who struggle with suicidality, self-harm, and personality disorder development. In addition to psychotherapy, my professional experiences include clinical supervision, community mental health program development and management, curating continuing education (CEU) special topics trainings for healthcare professionals, refugee resettlement and reunification, international relief work, and child bereavement. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, adrenaline adventures, hiking, reading, taking care of my mystery snails and 5 pea pufferfish.
